How do we get this magic bathing experience?

Mostly from baking soda, a mixture of sodium and hydrogen carbonate.
Commonly used for baking, it is also favoured in cosmetics and has awesome skin properties: soothing, exfoliating and brightening. Combined with citrus acid, this light fine white powder puts on a great bubbly show when dissolving in water. 

Ingredients - Boule de bain / bath bomb (Comet): sodium bicarbonate, citric acid, sodium sulfate, sodium chloride, sodium c14-16 olefin sulfonate, sodium coco sulfate, aqua (water), helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil, parfum, maltodextrin, olus (vegetable) oil, chamomilla recutita flower extract, tocopherol, CI 19140 (yellow 5), CI 14700 (red 4), CI 42090 (blue 1), CI 45410 (red 28).
